Chia seeds are becoming increasing popular and everyone (me included) seems to be raving about how great they are. They are an excellent source of omega 3, fiber, antioxidants and protein. I eat chia seeds in the morning or after workouts (I add them into my Power Shakes and Protein Balls) or before working out as the chia seeds absorb water and keep you hydrated for longer. At the moment I am using The Chia Co’s Chia Ground Seed, I have read that they are best eaten in this form to absorb the nutrients completely but try both and decide for yourself. Another plus is they are on Miranda Kerr’s top list of Super Foods Chia Seeds and as I am a little (okay a lot) obsessed with her, it gives me another reason to eat them.
