21 Day Live Vegan Giveaway Winner!

Thank you to everyone who entered the 21 Day Live Vegan Giveaway! Amanda and I were truly touched by your responses and as cliche as it sounds, it was really difficult to pick a winner. Everyone who entered is worthy of winning and experiencing what the program has to offer, so I thought the fairest way to decide was to use a random number generator. The lucky winner is number 22!

Congratulations Krista Anderson! Krista will be given support, advice and easy to follow steps to assist her in transitioning to a vegan lifestyle. Look out for an email in your inbox soon :) If you would like to take part in the program  jump on over to Vegan Era where you can register to sign up. It really is a fantastic program which will help make the process of become vegan fun, informative and enjoyable! It starts on the 11th March.

“I Can Give Up Cheese” Salad

Many of the entries for the giveaway mentioned how difficult it is to give up cheese. Trust me I know what you mean! I was the girl who at 18, told my Mum “I could never be vegan, how could I give up cheese!” I was crazy about cheese and had it on EVERYTHING! The tofu in this salad has the same consistency as feta, so I like to use it as a replacement. It doesn’t taste exactly the same..but hey sometimes you just have to retrain your tastebuds to like different things! Even if you do eat cheese this is uh-mazing and will still blow your socks off!

What you need

Lettuce

Cherry tomatos

Roasted pumpkin

Roasted Sweet potato

2 Die 4 Live Foods Activated Walnuts

Firm tofu – I used Soyco, Thai flavour

I didn’t use a dressing because there was already oil left on the roasted vegetable, for seasoning I used Nirvana Organics Pink Himalayan Rock Salt.

Do you have any questions about transitioning to a vegan lifestyle? If you do please comment below and Amanda or I would be more than happy to try and answer them for you :)
