Healthy eating is often associated with spending lots of money and buying complicated ingredients. So I thought I would be cool to come up with three simple and affordable ways to improve your eating habits that cost little or no money and require little effort. Please add your ideas in the comments!
1. Stop Drinking Soft Drinks – Start drinking water
Costs you nada – And the money you save from not buying coke can be spent on far more interesting things like, a ticket to the Pussycat Dolls’ show in Vegas for someone’s Bachelorette Party!
2. Eat more salad
Adding a salad to a meal is an easy way to get more nutrition into your diet, I also find I eat less of the main meal because I am mixing it up with something different. Just make sure it consists of more than just lettuce and tomato cause that’s just boring!
3. Make Your Own Breakfast
Or at least buy a healthy breakfast. Starting your day off with a bacon and egg roll on white bread, hash browns, cheese and tomato croissants or banana bread slathered in butter isn’t the best way to start the day. Make your own smoothie or juice and see the difference it makes to your savings and how you feel throughout the day. If you are more of a cereal person try The Muesli, a blend of nuts, seeds and delicious coconut and the best part? The Muesli is 97% sugar free and free from any added sugars.
