Products I’m Crazy About

23775835 – honey in jar with honey dipper on vintage wooden background

THE best perk of starting this blog has been all the awesome people, products and brands I have come across.

Here are some of the amazing brands and products I’m crazy about at the moment – More on the people next week 🙂

Akin by The Purist Company

Akin skin care products are made like all skin care products should be. Free from sulfates, parabens, ethoxylated and petrochemical cleansers, propylene glycol, silicones, phthalates, mineral oils, DEA, artificial colors and affordable!  If you can’t pronounce the ingredient you shouldn’t be eating it OR putting it on your face! I’m onto my third bottle of the A’kin Rose & Geranium Pure Creamy Cleanser & Toner and I have just started using their Revitalising Eye Night Cream. It’s good stuff, get in on the action.

Bounce Balls

I have been a big fan of Bounce Balls for a long time. They are small yet filling, making them a perfect snack for in between meals, before or after a workout or whenever you are on the go! There are six flavors in total and Cashew Pecan Vitality Lift, Spirulina Defence, and Fudgie Walnut Brain Storm are vegan – Woo hoo!

Comvita Manuka Honey

Manuka Honey is sourced from New Zealand’s remote, pollution free forests and is renowned for its unique flavor and health benefits. It has remarkable antibacterial and healing properties which are why it’s even being used in New Zealand hospitals to treat burn victims. I don’t eat honey often, but when I go I like to indulge in Comvita Manuka Honey or raw honey from my parent’s hives.

Hari Har Chai

For a long period of time, I use to drink soy chai lattes nearly everyday…It wasn’t until I took part in Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar Program that I realized how much sugar is in chai lattes  – Well duh Jess how do you not know that?!  I thought my days of drinking chai lattes were over but with the release of Hari Har Chai’s Liquid Chai Concentrate, it’s no longer the case! Simply warm milk and add the concentrate and chai sprinkle – way better than the cafe version.

Planet Organic Maqui Berry Powder

Acai who? Maqui Berry Powder ORAC rating is 4 to 10 times higher than acai powder! How amazing is that?! Bear in mind Acai doesn’t have any Omega 3* but if you are looking for purely an antioxidant hit, Maqui Berry is the way to go.

* Just so you know you can get Omega 3 from chia seeds or flaxseed oil

Now over to you. Question: What products can’t you live without?

I hope you have an amazing weekend and that you get to spend some time with your Mum for Mother’s Day!

Talk soon,

PS Don’t forget to enter the Adorn Mineral Cosmetics giveaway – Adorn is another brand I am so fortunate to have “met” through this blog! Their products are gorgeous and I would hate for you to miss out!
