I’ve gone on a lot about sugar, or more precisely giving up sugar. You can read about it here and here.
I couldn’t believe it when I found Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar eBook. Someone was actually making quitting sugar cool, and about time too.
To be completely honest I was a little unsure of how many recipes from Sarah’s I Quit Sugar Cookbook I would actually be able to eat (given my no meat, no dairy and no egg food habits) but I am pleased to let you know there are many vegetarian and vegan recipes and lots more that can be made vegan with some slight tweaking.
This recipe is one of my favourites and I’m sure it will be yours too!
Chia Puddings
Ingredients
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 1/2 cups cashew nut milk – I used oat milk
1/4 cup frozen berries
1 teaspoon of Natvia
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
Pinch of salt
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir. Divide into bowls or storage containers and place in the fridge. I ate mine for breakfast the next morning and it tasted delicious.
You can buy Sarah’s books from here.
With love,
