How I Manifested A Flight To Brisbane For the B-School Graduation Dinner

A few weeks ago an event popped up on Facebook that I was really keen to go to. It was the B-School Graduation Dinner hosted by my friend Nadine and her catering business Hot and Healthy Events, the only problem was the event was in Brisbane. For those of you who are not familiar with Australia, Brisbane and Sydney are not driving distance a part, it’s a flight; and with the wedding, honeymoon, blog stuff and other education events and courses I can’t seem to say no to, I wasn’t about to pay for a ticket myself. I didn’t know how I was going to get there but I wanted to go and I put it out “there” that I wanted to be up in Brisbane very soon, on August  3rd to be really specific. Please and thank you!

You know what happened? Two days later work tells me I need to go to Brisbane to meet with some prospective clients! I booked the meetings on the Friday so I was able to make the dinner :)

I had to leave early to catch the last flight home but it was great to actually meet Jess, Rachel, Nicola & Susana after seeing them in the online world for so long.

In between meetings I  had to chance to wonder around the West End,  a suburb filled with lots of organic food, secondhand books and tarot card readers. The warm weather was unbelievable too, 24 c in winter umm hello amazing!
