2012 achievements + acknowledgements

After reading Jess’ reflections post and Denise’s newsletter on the importance of celebrating our achievements I felt inspired to share with you what I’m proud to have achieved in 2012.

When you stop to fully acknowledge your achievements and be grateful for what has come into your life, you are far more likely to continue to attract more of the good stuff – which is what we all want right!

What I’m proud of:

Getting married!

Going on a 1 month holiday and unplugging

Signing up to B-School

Enrolling at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition

Getting my first client

Revamping my website

Signing up for 6 months of coaching with Denise

Moving three weeks before the wedding, without Faiz! I think I deserve an award for this one.

Almost buying an apartment before deciding to rent and put our money into business instead – Feeling really good about this decision after months of indecision.

And this one was the scariest…

Cutting down my hours at work to part time!

When the thought first crossed my mind, the mere thought of discussing it with Faiz, let alone my boss, felt really overwhelming. Yet I knew I had to do it. For a while, I was balancing work, IIN, blog and family commitments pretty well but now with coaching clients in the mix, the balancing act is getting harder and harder.

Plus I know that in order to grow Live Healthy Simply I need to have more time to dedicate to it. Simple really.

In 2012 I’ve learnt to be more patient and that everything will happen when it’s meant too (I’m still working really hard on this one).

I’ve learnt that it’s okay to ask for help and that I don’t need to do everything myself – and especially not everything all at once.

I’ve learnt that without supportive people surrounding you it’s really hard to get stuff done. Surround yourself with successful, happy people at all times.

So over to you! I’d love to hear what you have achieved and learnt in 2012! Leave a comment and let me know.
