Sugar free Christmas ideas + recipes
Last Christmas, I was 1 month into being sugar-free. For 8 weeks over last December and January, I ate zero grams of sugar, inspired from Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar Ebook. I have no idea why I choose the party season to give up sugar… To make it a little more difficult perhaps?
So just in case, you’re in the same boat I thought I would share a few tips to make your life a little easier and hopefully keep you sane in the silly season.
For now, the main sugar I eat is fruit and the occasional ice cream or raw chocolate treat with low levels of agave nectar. My sweet tooth has basically gone and I can wholehearted say it’s definitely worth going sugar-free.
It’s taken me a loooooooooooooong time to get to this point so don’t freak out if you’re not there yet. Patience along with stevia or Natvia (natural, fructose free sweeteners) will get you there.
