Focus on yourself

As women, we are very good at looking after others but do not always take the necessary time to look after ourselves. Now is the time to focus on you and what you need to do to create the life you want.
If you are burnt out or feeling overly stressed, then you are unfortunately not in a position to be a very good partner or mother and you won’t be able to perform at your maximum potential in your job, business or friendships. It’s like when you take a flight. Your instructions are to put on your mask before you help others in the event of an emergency. The same applies to life.
Below list everything you want to create or achieve within the next 10 years. If something is really important to you it’s your job to go out there and make it happen. As scary as it may be to go after your dreams it’s going to be 100 times worse looking back with regret.

What do you want to create or achieve…
In your copy of The Chic & Healthy Woman write down everything you want to create or achieve within the next 10 years. It might seem a little crazy to be thinking about life 10 years from now but when you put your dreams down on paper, it’s a signal to the universe that you’re serious about making your dreams a reality.
This week also pay close attention to:
How much time you have to rest and recharge
(sitting on the bus going to work doesn’t count)
How many times you say yes
(and if you really want to be saying yes)
If your days are spent on tasks that get you closer to your ultimate goals
(or are you just wishing things would happen and not taking any action)
Each day, whether it be big or small, take 1 symbolic action that takes you closer to your goals. My action step for today is finalising the structure of my group health coaching program, more details to come next month!
