1. Why Are You Holding Onto the Last 5 Kilos?

    Comment
Congratulations! You’re nearly at your goal weight (go you!) All you want to do is just lose those last few kilos but… It’s proving more difficult than you thought. What you were doing before is no longer working and you seemed to have plateaued in the weight department… With so many complicated diets out there (high protein, low protein, low fat, high fat, 5 meals a day, 3 meals a day, no sugar, no carbs, no fruit, no grains) it’s hard to know what you should and shouldn’t be eating, to shift those last pesky few kilos. But what if I told you...
  2. My Two Favourite Cafes + Your Last Chance to RSVP

    Comment
It’s not long till our female blogger & entrepreneurs morning tea! Two weeks on Sunday to be exact. Ursula & I decided to get super professional and come up with name for the event. We settled on Live Aspire Blog which seems to capture our message perfectly and also includes words from both our individual blogs.  We have some pretty exciting things in the works for the event and events in the future – we hope you can make it! It’s being held at Earth to Table  & we already have a group of 17 fun and inspiring women attending...
  3. Me & Mrs Jones Restaurant Review + Eren’s 21st

    3
On Saturday we headed to Canberra for the night for my little cousin’s 21st birthday party! I seriously can’t believe she is 21? Where has all the time gone?! Growing up neither of us had brothers or sisters, so I took on the responsibility of introducing her to hair and makeup and “dressing up” when in retrospect she was probably far too young and should have been playing with dolls – Sorry for stealing your childhood Eren! I must say though she has turned out to be an amazing young women so my influence mustn’t have been too bad. She’s...
  4. Lunch at Earth to Table

    1
I was feeling a little under the weather on the weekend, so we decided to head to Earth to Table for a really healthy lunch! We ordered the zucchini spaghetti, transformation tonic, coconut water and their famous blueberry organic, raw vegan cake, that I forgot to take a photo of because we ate it so quickly. I’ve meaning to go ever since the cafe opened at the end of October, and  it was certainly worth the wait. It’s awesome that there is now two raw cafes in Sydney, a huge turn around considering a year ago there was none! Have a look...
  5. Restaurant Review Sokyo

    Comment
I’ve mentioned before about how much I love Japanese here and here and with Sokyo being one of my favourite Japanese restaurants; it’s funny I’ve never gotten around to writing a review until now. We went to Sokyo last week after completely running out of groceries and driving past the grocery store, only to remember 10 minutes later we were meant to call in! We’re staying at my uncle’s while we look for an apartment (I’ll share more on this later in the week hopefully) and there was no way we were turning around in peak hour traffic to go back...
